this is a great job for your first try. the only thing i would say to work on is the health bar alittle bit, its not bad, but maybe it just needs more style. great work though.

for a first game i think that your game is excellent. and for the competition the game seems like a great idea. i would only suggest adding allittle more style to it to make it more pleasing to the eye.
